We are so sorry to hear about George. Thankfully, he had you to look after him up until the end. How can someone treat their dog that way? It just breaks my heart. The Santa message about folks keeping up on heartworm meds is a very important one. We administer to our Sibes all year round, even in the cold weather months. I once had a dog that contracted a mild case of heartworms because she missed one dosage during a summer month. She survived her treatment, thankfully. Never will I ever miss a dosage again.
